Republican or Democrat? The iPhone Has You Covered

The 2008 presidential elections are going to be history making. There is no doubt about this in anyones mind. In fact they’ve already been making history. We actually had both a woman and an African American man running for president, it’s unbelievable! Who would have ever thought, or expected it this year? Just think, possibly even as close as 15 years ago this would have been a gigantic social “no, no!” Progress really is being made, even if it’s little by little. These elections with the very welcomed diversity have brought many people out to get ready to support their candidate, and cast their votes. Many of us, including myself, will be voting for the first time. It’s very exciting, to me atleast, to think about voting finally. One of the biggest presidential elections in the history of all elections, and it will be my first time to cast a vote for president. I will be part of history, and I hope many others join in too.
Anyway you know I always have to bring this around to the iPhone. It is after all the only reason you would come to this AWESOME website. And this is at a perfect time as the conventions are just freshly still in our minds and everyone really came out to get involved. The RNC and the DNC happened so quickly, and there was so much information to keep track of that you need an app like this to stay on top of everything. So this awesome application will cost you a mere $.99 and it will allow you to follow the election very closely. It’s simply called Election ‘08, made by the good folks over at Chimp Software. This app easily lets you keep right up to date with the latest polls and data. It gives you all of this in an awesome interface. Cause that’s what it’s all about, right! What good is all of this information if you can’t make any sense of it. It’s really quite a work of art to be handed the latest information about the biggest election of history in such gracious fashion. But us as iPhone users and many of us Mac users this is what we’ve come to expect. A great interface is what we expect. It’s made in such a way we just know what to do when we are presented with the polls and graphs. So let me put up some screenshots to show you what I’m talking about.
As you can see you can check out each states polls as well past elections like the wonderful 2000 elections, haha. Also if you look along the bottom part of the screen you can see what options you can choose to view the data you want to see. Either do it alphabetical, or choose to see between Obama or McCain, etc…
In short this app is the one stop you need to make while on the go if you need to catch up with your presidential information. Like I said, all the information you could ever want to digest is right there. So get your election on you iPhone Nuts. It’s definitely important and is a way to help make history!
