That's great to see visitors all the way from the beautiful down under, Although we are down under to you, haha. When I come visit I'll come say hello.GPS was definitely a feature I wanted too, and I fully believe they will bring a great navigation app to the iPhone. I just hope they do it soon!To answer your question I just tested my Google Maps on Wifi with GPS then I turned on Airplane mode to make sure I had no connections whatsoever. The maps had some sort of Cache but it only went in one direction and not for very long at all. If I went south there was nothing, but north there were spots of the map that showed up. It also seemed like GPS still worked, but I wasn't moving so I can't be sure. This might be a great idea for another article though, so hope that helped you out. Thanks!

Wow Australia! That’s great to see visitors all the way from the beautiful down under, Although we are down under to you, haha. Is it really Sylvester Stallone visiting the site?!Anyway thank you very much for the kind words. I really hope that they bring a great GPS turn-by-turn application to the iPhone soon. So to answer your question Google Maps can recalculate your route, but it doesn't do it automatically at the moment. I don't know if it will ever do it automatically, but to make it recalculate itself you have to edit your directions and rechoose the starting point as your current location. It will then relocate you with GPS and give you the correct directions from there. Not the best solution to do while you are driving but it can be done.Like I said we're dealing with Apple, they can definitely bring a very elegant and great navigation app. If they are going to I hope it's very soon. Just add it to the app store and let us all download it! Thanks again

Hi Rambo! This is definitely something apple needs to address. Personally I've never used mms no matter the phone I had. With the iPhone apple may be trying to push you to email. But then what happens when I want to send a picture to my moms phone which doesn't do email? This definitely is a request made by a lot if people. If everyone keeps bugging apple I'm sure they will have no choice but to add MMS. I hope they add it soon for you! Thanks again

Hey Kyle, thanks for the comment first if all. This is definitely something apple needs to address.
