FRIDAY, FRIDAY, FRIDAY! Thank the Lord it’s Friday here in Indiana! I’ve only been back for two days after an extended Fall Break in Missouri. Anyway I hope your Friday has started out well, let’s keep it light hearted as we talk about the iPhone today.

Wallpapers, do you use them on your iPhone? When I ask that, I know you have to have one by default. You can’t get away from using them, so do you really pay attention to it and care for your iPhone wallpaper? If not today is the day for a revolution for all iPhone owners out there and their respective wallpapers. Long Live WALLPAPERS!

It’s hump day, and today we’re going to talk about an Adobe product brought to the iPhone. Sadly for all of you flash lovers out there this is not flash on the iPhone. But for us photo lovers out there, Adobe has released a very light version of Photoshop for the iPhone. At first it sounds REALLY exciting right? Photoshop on the iPhone, but don’t get THAT excited.

Layar Brings Augmented Reality To The iPhone

It’s another Monday post again, Happy Monday to all out there. It seems like here in the midwest that the weather has picked back up to normal Fall levels. Sunny with crisp air in the 60’s! It’s great out there. Hope the weekend treated you well. Now let’s get into some iPhone stuff!

Augmented reality is the next great thing coming to the iPhone. Good news for us is that it doesn’t require much, except for maybe the iPhone 3GS. For augmented reality to work it needs to have GPS and a compass. You might be able to get by with other versions of the iPhone but the iPhone 3GS will do it best! Of course you can always upgrade like I did!

All of College Football At Your Fingertips.

It’s Monday, I know. I feel it too, I just played in a one day ultimate tourney yesterday and my body is beat up. Not to mention doing home work and trying to keep up with everything all weekend. Now I’m here sleep deprived and making it through the day with some coffee and patience. This Monday I’m going to be trying something new for my review writing skills. Care to take a guess what that is? If you guessed sports then you are correct. I’ve yet to review any of the sports apps, and considering it’s fall and definitely football season we’re going to get into it.

Is The Rhapsody Radio Free iPhone App Worth It?

September 23, 2009 by Ryan Ray · 2 Comments

Do you guys and gals remember the days when Real player was the norm for media playback on your computer? I’m only 22 and I do remember when I used Real player for all my media needs. Apple and Microsoft were quick to capitalize on the opportunity, and obviously since I love Apple I’m a big Quicktime fan. It really is the best out there at the moment. I supplement my Quicktime use with a plugin called Perian that everyone should use if you don’t. Also just in case I have VLC for backup, just incase the file won’t play right. None the less the Real player as we know it has all but died.

Happy Monday to everyone out on the internet this morning, or whenever you read this. It may not even be Monday where you are at, but here I am exhausted sitting in a computer lab in between classes. No matter my level of sleepiness I can always bring you something new about the iPhone. This time it’s an app made by the people at Skyworks, appropriately title Skyscrapers.

Top 5 of 25 : UNO!

September 18, 2009 by Ryan Ray · 4 Comments

Finally, we’re going to finish up this series on a wonderful Friday. I’ve got a lot of great stuff coming your way as well. My weekend is not busy at all so I should be posting all the goodies over the weekend. So if you get bored check the site over the weekend. Better yet subscribe to our RSS feed, and follow us on Twitter! The last app in this drawn out series is a game we all know and love. It’s called UNO! I picked up the free version but if you want the full version then you’ll have to pay over $4.99. Just my humble opinion, but I don’t love UNO that much to pay $5 for it. I know there are some real UNO lovers out there so it may be worth it to you to have the game on your iPhone. The paid versions offers some nice multiplayer features though, you can play online with strangers or take on friends over Wifi. That’s cool in itself. So check it out if you need the full version.

Keep Your Life In Order With Todo Lite

One of my favorite apps as of late, is also really helping me survive and make it through this semester of school. Of course you can take this and apply it to life, work, whatever it is you need to keep track of. The app is called Todo. I’m not sure if it’s pronounced To Do, or more like todo the dog from Wizard of Oz. The point is though that you can easily and quickly create a wonderful to do list that syncs up with your Mac and iCal. Read on to find out more

Flickr’s Native App Is Real

September 9, 2009 by Ryan Ray · Leave a Comment

Rejoice, rejoice I say. The day has finally come that Flickr, a service of Yahoo, has brought us their own NATIVE app. Let me say too that this is an incredible app. After all of that searching for anything that functioned, looked, felt, like their own app they go ahead and release their own app. They sure did take their sweet time didn’t they? Well, after using it last night and some today I think I can say that it was worth the wait. If you can believe it I’ve only got one gripe about the app, and of course that is that you can’t upload multiple photos. If that’s my only complaint after more use then I sure hope Flickr adds that in, and quick! Let’s talk about the app now. By the way the app is completely free. Get IT now.
