Once more I have another photo app review coming your way. I’d appreciate it if you’d let me know if you like seeing this kind of running series, or if you’d rather have my regular reviews about anything and everything. Just leave a comment and let me know, it’s much appreciated. This app is called PhotoCurves and really this is one of my favorite apps ever. Mainly because I love doing this on a computer in Photoshop, and this app brings that to my iPhone. Curves are just so great to edit, and an easy way to enhance your already great photo. Just give it a shot sometime.
Alright, I know I’ve been gone for awhile once again. So please forgive me for the absence. If you must know I’ve been traveling playing drums at different youth camps. It’s been a lot of fun, and a good excuse to get off of my computer and get some sunshine and good vitamin D. Of course I’ve taken my iPhone with me and have been using it heavily to document the experience. The new iPhone 3G S has a great camera as you all know and it’s worked great for me. So with that in mind let’s continue on with this series talking about taking photos on the iPhone. These apps aren’t limited to the iPhone 3G S, which makes them great to use on any iPhone and perhaps some new iPod Touches after they are updated. That’s the rumor anyways.
As far as I can tell, NO ONE, is enjoying all of these awesome photo app reviews. I mean, one person commenting. Weak sauce you guys, haha. Here I am busting my butt finding the best photo apps, not that I like photography or anything. What a waste of my time. Anyway tonight/today/this morning let’s hit up this great app called Photo Sharp. I’ve picked up the free one so it’s features are a little simplified, but that is ok I’m only looking for it to do one thing. Then if it does one thing I hope it does it well.
Again here I am being super nerdy and talking about the iPhone and it’s amazing camera again. Hah, today is another pretty simple app to work with. I’ve found a lot of the camera apps are pretty simple, but I like that. It would be pretty hard to be the do it all, one stop camera app. I’ve seen a few try and well… they just need to keep on trying. When that one comes though it’s going to strike it big. It’ll definitely be a home run if there is one app that can take out all of the photo apps. If you know of it, PLEASE, let me know. Alright, now that that is out of the way let’s talk about todays sweet app.
Here we are again as promised talking some more about the iPhone 3G S nice, new camera. One thing it still doesn’t do fantastic at is to shoot pictures at night. Mainly it stems from the inability to put the kind of aperture and shutter in this tiny case that makes the camera so bad at night shots. If the iPhone has plenty of light the shots are crisp and great, the same can’t be said for low light. With the iPhone and shooting in low light you get a very grainy picture. That’s probably from the ISO being set high to try and compensate for the low light. Another thing that gets worse on the iPhone is the blur when shooting in low light. This is where the app Night Camera comes in.
Hello hello, once again I apologize for the absence of posts about the incredible iPhone. I have been out on a tour playing drums, no worries though I do indeed have the iPhone 3GS and have lots and lots to say about it. I’ve had a great time out on the road, but have dearly missed writing for you about my iPhone. I went and got the iPhone 3GS the day it came out in STL, hassle free! Perhaps I’ll write more about that, but as you all know the improvements to the iPhone 3GS are mainly in it’s camera, ignoring that it’s much faster for now! So with that in mind we are going to hit up my favorite apps that utilize this awesome camera.
